The internet can be a scary place. We often find ourselves searching for answers only to find ourselves down a rabbit hole of scary and confusion information. We have all been there whether we want to admit it or not. As a parent when you receive news from a doctor or therapist about your child your immediate reaction may be to google it. When it comes to diagnoses, such as Autism or Apraxia you want to make sure you are finding reliable resources. Blogs and Facebook stories may seem terrifying, so remember what was true for one family does not mean it will be the same for your family.
Below are websites that have great information for various diagnoses and speech related difficulties/disorders.

Thank you for sharing these resources. I find myself always advocating for schools to pay more attention to these disorders and pushing for early intervention in my community.
